Soul Renovation – India

Over the past 15 years, I’ve seen a small “seed of faith” grow into a beautiful, life-changing curriculum called “Soul Renovation” that has provided shade for the souls of many [Matt. 13:31-32]. Written by a team of people including my wife, her parents, and myself, this material is designed to help men and women embrace their true identity and experience positive life change.

Thousands of men and women have experienced these principles within small group settings, and we’ve recently started presenting it in a 3-day workshop called the “Soul Renovation Experience.”

The Soul Renovation Experience Heads to India

I’m excited to share with you that Soul Renovation Ministries has been invited by Suresh Kumar, President of Harvest India, to plant more seeds in India by training over 1,000 village pastors in the 10 principles of a Soul Renovation! For years, it has been our dream to equip an army of men and women to become wounded healers who able to share their healing and transformation with others in a safe and authentic way. We had hoped to one day see the material make its way into other countries and into other languages, but we had no idea the opportunity would come so quickly. 1. “What is Soul Renovation Ministries?”

Soul Renovation Ministries is a non-profit ministry committed to helping people around the world embrace their true identity and experience positive life change. As the Director, I spearhead the effort to spread the 10 principles of a Soul Renovation by hosting 3-day workshops, raising up new group leaders, and starting new groups.

The 10 principles of a Soul Renovation come from almost 20 years of personal research, reflection, and integration of God’s principles for healing and wholeness. In a nutshell, the heartbeat of the 10 principles can be found in three words – confession, forgiveness, and repentance. As men and women experience these principles, the result is extraordinary life-change!

2. “What is Harvest India, and who is Suresh Kumar?”

Suresh Kumar has been a friend of mine for over 10 years. He is the current President of Harvest India (www.harvestindia.org), a ministry consisting of over 1,100 village churches, 6 Bible colleges, 10 orphanages, a restoration ministry for former prostitutes, 4 homes for the elderly, a 1,000 student school for the dalit (untouchable) children, and much more. Harvest India is touching thousands of lives with the Good News each day. You need to see it to believe it!

3. “How can I be involved?”

I’m glad you asked! I’ll be taking a small team to India next month (December 8th – 16th) to meet with Suresh and 30-50 staff members, elders, and key leaders. We’ll begin to train and prepare them to help us lead a larger Soul Renovation conference in 2009 for over 1,000 village pastors. The training of this leadership team will include large group teaching from the Bible, small group interaction, and personal prayer and reflection time. And, I need your help!
